We slept in a little before I packed up everything to hit the road. We're pretty excited to hit new states and hope to take pictures of state signs where we can.
In Hope, AR, we saw a sign for President Clinton's birthplace home, which is a National Historical Site. I asked if anyone wanted to stop and Brady said yes, so here we are. Not much to it. It was cool, I guess, but he only lived there until he was about four. It seems more like a shrine for his fans. Still, it was neat to see.
Hot Springs was about 230 miles, but with all the stops, especially at Clinton's house, it took forever again. We're going to have to get more efficient with the stopping or just be more judicious with what's worthy of stopping for.
We stayed at the Gulpha Gorge campground, which is first come, first serve, so that was a little nerve-wracking. We got a great spot though and I had an easy enough time backing HQ into place. There was a little stream passing through the park that Haley liked.
We spent the rest of the night walking through town looking for something to eat, but almost everything was closed, so we got groceries at Walmart and just ate at home. Looking forward to tomorrow!
