To Amish Country

We left New Jersey/Philadelphia and made our way to Lancaster County, PA, home of more than 30,000 Amish people. Someone told Stacey that we should visit, so we're staying here for a few days at Flory's Campground. We are backed up to an Amish farm and saw this the first day there.

I saw an advertisement in a magazine for Zook's Chicken Pies and it happened to be near us, so I went over and bought a few tonight. They had chicken, beef, and sausage as well as apple turnovers. I bought one of each. The pot pies were absolutely fantastic. If we had more freezer space, I would have bought ten of them. They were about $8 each and fed all four of us.

Tomorrow we are heading to Valley Forge for the day.
